Timely repairs

The sprucing up of the Monroe County Courthouse continues as the clock tower was recently painted and repaired. The clock should strike exactly on the hour now instead of a few minutes past the hour. The County Mayor's Office said the painting project cost about $53,000, which is about half what it cost the last time to paint the Courthouse.
