SWEETWATER-The target date for the Walmart grand opening is Sept. 11, a Walmart architect told the Sweetwater Regional Planning Commission Monday night during the monthly workshop.

Architect Sunday Bougher said the store would not have a soft opening (being open to customers a few days before the announced grand opening), but would instead open at once for good on that day, a Wednesday, about six months from now.
