Staff photo by Jessica Cross In February, Steve Rogers, vice
president of the Friends of the Tellico Plains Library, challenged
Tellico Plains Library Co-director Joy Turner to see who could have
signed up the most new members by the March meeting. Rogers then
took it a step further, telling Turner whoever lost the challenge
would have to eat crow--a crow cake, that is. When the numbers were
in, Turner won the challenge, getting 36 new members for the Friends
of the Tellico Plains Library. Rogers added 30 members. Pictured: Turner makes Rogers eat crow.
