MADISONVILLE-A routine traffic stop in
the Madisonville Industrial Park Thursday afternoon led to the arrest
of two men on narcotics and a weapons charge.
Madisonville Patrolman David Wear said
he was in the industrial park when he saw the driver of a blue
Chevrolet Tahoe lose control of the vehicle as he was turning into
private property off the road.
Wear checked on the vehicle and found
the driver to be Matthew Bovard, Hawkins Road, Sweetwater. Bovard
refused to let Wear search his vehicle, so Wear, being suspicious,
called for the Sweetwater Police K-9 unit to come to the scene. See full story in the Sunday, March 10, edition of The Advocate & Democrat.
