Chancellor: City of Sweetwater has no standing in TMG dispute

SWEETWATER-Chancellor Jerri Bryant has denied the City of Sweetwater's motion to intervene in the dispute between the parties battling over ownership of the 144-acre TMG campus.

Sweetwater city leaders have grown tired watching the historic TMI/TMG property fall into further ruin as an ongoing legal dispute drags on between two separate groups both claiming to own the campus. The city four months ago asked Chancellor Bryant to award it ownership of the property as an alternative to the two fighting groups that the city contends do not have the resources to take care of the land.
