Inky Johnson, former cornerback for
the University of Tennessee Vols, greets Hiwassee College President,
Robin Trocoli after Johnson spoke to a crowd of supporters of the
Boys & Girls Club of the Monroe Area Thursday at the Tellico West
Center in Vonore. Johnson gave an inspirational talk about his life
after a life-threatening injury in a football game. The injury, which
left his right arm useless, ended Johnson's dream of playing in the
NFL, but the 26 year old has made a career as a motivational and
inspirational speaker. His message is one of faith in God and one in
which he hope to teach young people to believe in themselves.
