MADISONVILLE-The Tennessee Bureau of
Investigation (TBI) is still looking into the case of a body that was
found in the water at Kefauver Park early Sunday afternoon.
TBI had first told The Advocate & Democrat it was the body of a woman, but confirmed Monday it was the
body of 19-year-old Zachary Tyler Wilson. TBI said there are no
obvious signs of foul play, however a complete autopsy will determine
the cause of death.
Madisonville Police Department Officer
Gerald Summey said it was around 1:20 p.m. Sunday when he was sent to
the park after a father and son reported seeing a body in the water.
The father told Summey he and his son
were looking for a spot to fish when the son saw what looked like a
body in the water. The father said he walked to the edge of the water
and saw that it was indeed a body and called 911.
According to Wilson's Facebook page, he
had gone to school in Memphis, but his residence at the time of his
death was listed as Englewood.
