The Advocate & Democrat is introducing a new contest to see who has the most school spirit in Monroe County!

Post your photos to our Facebook page, to the AdvocateDemocrat SportsPage on Facebook, or e-mail them to us at editor@advocateanddemocrat.com.

Any insulting or vulgar photos will be deleted and disqualified from the competition.

There will be one winner for each of the three local high schools and our local college: Tellico Plains High School, Sequoyah High School, Sweetwater High School, and Hiwassee College.

Winners will receive a $25 cash prize and their winning photo will run in a future edition of The Advocate & Democrat.

The deadline for entries is Thursday, Nov. 1, at 5 p.m. Entries will be judged on creativity and showcasing of school spirit.
