Monroe Area Council for the Arts (MACA) will present a guitar and cello performance by Montana Skies on Friday, March 26, at 7:30 p.m. at Butcher Auditorium, Hiwassee College in Madisonville.
Performing as Montana Skies, husband and wife duo Jonathon and Jennifer Adams perform a must-see live concert experience: a duo with the full spectrum of an orchestra crossed with the energy of a rock band. These artists have created a "new acoustic" sound with their pairing of cello, six-string electric cello, Spanish/classical guitar, and steel string guitar. These award-winning musicians delve into music from Pink Floyd and Rush to Vivaldi, House of the Rising Sun and Bach, as well as their own originals that have been featured everywhere from NPR to the Travel Channel.
Advance tickets are $15/adult and $10/student and may be purchased at all Citzens National Banks in Monroe County by cash or check. Advance tickets may also be purchased with a credit card by calling (423) 442-3210 or online at www.monroearts.com. At the box office on the night of the performance, tickets are $18/adult and $10/student.
