Vonore Alumni Basketball Game
Your help is desired in helping raise money to assist our middle school and elementary school.
We are planning on having two alumni nights in the near future that will feature a men's and women's basketball games.
If you are alumni of Vonore High School or attended Vonore Middle or Vonore Elementary before attending Sequoyah High School, and would like to participate in any capacity, you are welcomed.
We are looking for players, cheerleaders, gate workers, concession workers, etc.

Little League Registration
Monroe County Little League will be holding every Saturday through Feb. 13 from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. at Henry's Sub Shop in Madisonville.
The registration fee is $25 and is open to all players in the county between the ages of 5-14.
For each participant to be registered, one document proving the player's age will be needed.
Three or more documents will also be needed to show the address of the legal residence of the parents or guardians for the player.
There will also be a player evaluation at Sequoyah High school.

Sweetwater Softball
Sign-ups
Sweetwater softball will be holding sign-ups for girls ages 4-14 (as of Dec. 31, 2009) at all Sweetwater Upward basketball games.
Sign-ups will also be held Feb. 12 from 5-8 p.m. and Feb. 13 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Sweetwater City Hall basement.
The sign-up fee is $40.

Tellico Thunder
Sign-ups
Sign-ups for the Tellico Thunder fast-pitch softball team will be held Feb. 13 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Tellico Junior High School.
The sign-up fee is $40 and sizes will be taken for uniforms at that time.
There will be four age groups: 8 and under, 10 and under, 12 and under, and 14 and under. First-year players need to bring a copy of their birth certificate.

Sweetwater Baseball Sign-ups
Sweetwater Dixie Youth Baseball will be holding their final sign-up Feb. 13 at Brown Intermediate School from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.
Sign-ups are open to any child age 4-14. Sign-up fee is $35 for ages 4-10, $40 for 11-12 and $50 for 13-14. Sign-up fee covers cost of uniform (cap, jersey and pants ), insurance and an end of season trophy.
A discount will apply to families with more than 2 children playing in the league.

Rural Vale Baseball Sign-ups
Rural Vale Baseball will be holding sign-ups for players ages 4-8 on Feb. 20 and 27 at the Rural Vale baseball field.
The cost is $40 and all players need to have a copy of their birth certificate at the time of sign-ups.

Sweetwater Football Banquet
The Sweetwater football team will hold its year-end banquet on Feb. 13 at 6:30 p.m. at Sweetwater Methodist Church.
Tickets for the banquet cost $20 and can be purchased by calling April Ingram at Sweetwater High School by calling 337-7881.

Vonore Baseball & Softball

Vonore will be holding sign-ups for its Dixie Youth baseball and softball teams on Feb. 13 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Vonore Elementary School gym.
Boys and girls ages 5-14 are eligible to play.
