Mammie Lou Dotson Belcher

Mammie Lou Dotson Belcher of the Belltown Community, passed
away at 9:20 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 11, at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a
homemaker whose life revolved around family and church. Her hobbies included
gardening, crocheting, quilting and loved southern gospel music. She was a member of Cane Creek Baptist
Church and church clerk for 19 years.
She was 77.
Preceded in death by: parents, Henry and Cora Dotson; and
granddaughter, Angel Belcher.
Survivors include: husband of 61 years-Samuel Belcher Jr.;
Children-Rebecca Vernelle Fuller, Paul Belcher and wife,
Helen, and David Henry Belcher & fiancée Bridget Goble, all of Tellico
Plains;
Six grandchildren-Becky, Tim, Andy, Katie, Samuel and
Travis;
Three sweet great-grandchildren-Jake, Landon and Matthew;
Brother-Henry Clay Dotson of Michigan;
Former daughter-in-law-Candace Belcher;
Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, at Cane Creek
Baptist Church, with Rev. B.J. Wall officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery, with Rev. Frank
Hicks officiating. Family will
receive friends from 5-8 p.m., Tuesday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Tellico
Plains.
