Juanita Millsaps Mason Jordan

Juanita Millsaps Mason Jordan, Johnson City, died Nov. 1, at
NHC in Johnson City. She was born Nov. 16, 1921 in Madisonville, to the
late Ellen Martin Millsaps and the late Jesse Douglas Millsaps. She
graduated from Tennessee State Teacher's College (now ETSU) and held teaching
positions in several places in Tennessee. She moved to Pensacola Beach,
Fla. in the early 1950's and taught at Pensacola Junior College while there.
She moved to Fort Myers, Fla. in 1970, then returning to Johnson City in
1995.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one
brother, Jesse Douglas Millsaps; and one sister, Alma Millsaps Daugherty; her
first husband, Joseph Wilson Mason; and her second husband, Dr. Otis Leon
Jordan.
Survivors include: nieces-Joan Daugherty Watson and Charlene
Daugherty VanHooser;
Grand-niece-Shelley Watson Burton;
Great-nephew-Jacob Watson Burton; and
Nephew-Jesse Douglas Millsaps III.
