James
"Jim" Sisk of Athens, went to be with the Lord, Sunday, Nov. 4. He was a member
of Cedar Fork Baptist Church. He passed away from complications due to
diabetes. He was an avid music fan, a self-proclaimed and self-taught computer
expert and loved hot and spicy foods. He and his brother Rich were best friends
and shared countless adventures. He loved road trips and exploring. He was
passionate about everything he did and loved to be around family and friends.
He
was 49.
Preceded
in death by: grandparents, Austin and Allie Howard.
Survivors
include: mother and stepfather-Carolyn and Ray Turbyfill of Athens;
Father
and stepmother-J.B. and Ann Sisk of North Carolina;
Brother
and sister-in-law-Rich and Brenda Sisk of Charleston, S.C.;
Stepsisters-Tina
and husband, Ed Brown of Spring City; Tonya and husband, Matt Delashmit of
Englewood; Carrie Shavers of Athens;
Nephews
and nieces-Aaron and Nick Sisk, Chelsie and Cade Delashmit, Morgan and Eli
Shavers and Michael Caylor;
Aunts-Barbara
and husband, Jerry Berwanger, Vivian and husband, Tim Kittle;
Several
cousins and many friends.
The
family will receive friends from noon-2 p.m., at Cedar Fork Baptist Church,
Thursday, Nov. 8. Funeral services will follow. Interment will follow in Cedar
Fork Baptist Church Cemetery. Kyker Funeral Home, Sweetwater, in charge of
arrangements.
