Wm. David Belcher

Wm. David Belcher of Madisonville, went to be with his Lord
and Savior at 11:58 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 5, at UT Medical Center. He was a
veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee,
Knoxville and held a master's degree. He was a retired school teacher after 30
years service at Madisonville Middle School and was a member and deacon at South
Madisonville Baptist Church.
He was 66.
Preceded in death by: parents, Troy and Grace Belcher;
brother, Robert Lee Belcher.
Survivors include: children-Jason Belcher of Chattanooga;
Justin Belcher and wife, Kyla of Madisonville; Tasha Melton of Ten Mile;
Caleb-John Belcher of Madisonville; Deanna Belcher, Shea Belcher, William
Joseph Belcher and
Lauren Belcher, all of Athens;
Sisters and brothers-in-law-Johnnie Ruth Graham of Niota;
Carolyn and Randy Hawkins of Danville, Ky.; Margaret and Gerald Rogers of
Fayetteville, Ga.;
Brother-Joe Belcher of Madisonville;
Several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 8 p.m., Thursday, in Biereley-Hale
Chapel, with Rev. Rick Harris and Rev. Larry Gibby officiating. Interment will
be 11 a.m. Friday, in Haven Hill Memorial Gardens with military honors. Family
will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. before the service. Biereley-Hale Funeral
Home, Madisonville, in charge of arrangements.
